Female Intimate Health
Yes. Changes related to age, hormonal fluctuations, pregnancy, childbirth, menopause and individual characteristics can modify the appearance and function of the intimate area throughout life.
Whenever there is discomfort, pain, irritation, aesthetic changes that cause distress or symptoms such as vaginal dryness, urinary leakage or difficulty with sexual intercourse.
No. Many intimate treatments have a functional purpose and can improve comfort, tissue quality, urinary symptoms, vaginal lubrication and quality of life.
Each patient has different needs. During the consultation, an individualized evaluation is carried out to identify the best treatment options according to your concerns and goals.
Consultation & Evaluation
The consultation is a dedicated moment to understand your concerns, expectations and goals. Dr. Melissa carries out an individualized evaluation, answers all of your questions and explains the treatment options. At the end, you receive personalized guidance and a treatment plan designed for your case.
Yes. Patients from other cities or countries can have their initial evaluation online, discussing concerns, expectations, medical history and treatment options — which makes it easier to plan the trip and the next steps.
No. The consultation and the surgery take place on different dates. The pre-operative evaluation is essential to plan the procedure safely, and on the day of surgery the entire team is dedicated exclusively to you.
It usually lasts between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the complexity of the case. The goal is for you to have enough time to understand every step and make your decision with confidence.
Intimate Surgeries (Labiaplasty, Clitoral Hood Reduction and Labia Majora Labiaplasty)
Women who feel discomfort due to excess tissue, laxity or asymmetry of the labia minora or majora and of the clitoral hood — whether during physical activity, when wearing tight clothing or during sexual intercourse — or who wish for greater aesthetic harmony of the area. The indication is always individualized after an evaluation.
No. The procedures are performed under local anesthesia, providing comfort throughout the surgery. In the post-operative period, mild swelling and tenderness in the first few days are normal and are well controlled with the prescribed medication.
Initial recovery is usually quick, with a return to light activities within a few days. Intense physical exercise, cycling, the gym and sexual intercourse should be avoided for approximately 30 to 45 days, according to individual progress.
No. When performed by an experienced gynecologist using the proper technique, the surgery preserves the anatomy and sensitivity, maintaining the natural function of the vulva and seeking more comfort and harmony.
Yes. Labiaplasty and clitoral hood reduction, for example, are usually performed together for a more balanced and natural result, with a single recovery. The combination is defined during the evaluation.
The CO₂ laser allows precise incisions with less bleeding and less trauma to the tissues, contributing to discreet scars and a more comfortable recovery. Even so, individualized planning and the surgeon’s experience are what most influence a natural result.
CO₂ Laser Treatments
It is used for vulvar and vaginal rejuvenation, dryness and improvement of lubrication, mild urinary incontinence, vaginal tightening, intimate whitening and as support in conditions such as lichen sclerosus and recurrent candidiasis. The indication is defined individually during the evaluation.
For most treatments we recommend between 3 and 5 sessions, with intervals defined during the evaluation. In cases such as intimate whitening, 5 to 8 sessions may be indicated, depending on the goal and response of each patient.
It is very well tolerated. When necessary, a topical anesthetic is used to ensure comfort. Most patients report only a sensation of warmth or mild discomfort during application.
Results appear progressively, with tissue regeneration and collagen formation — many patients already notice improvement after the first sessions. Recovery is quick and, in most cases, it is possible to resume activities the same day or the next day.
Not always. In conditions such as recurrent candidiasis, lichen sclerosus or urinary incontinence, the laser acts as part of a complementary strategy — the approach is always individualized and may involve other therapies.
Intimate Aesthetics (Filler and Exosomes)
For women with loss of volume in the labia majora, laxity, asymmetries or an aged appearance of the intimate area. Hyaluronic acid can also help with comfort and hydration of dry intimate skin or skin with small fissures.
Yes. The goal is to restore volume and support harmoniously, respecting the anatomy of each patient, without artificial results. The effects usually last between 12 and 24 months, depending on the body and the product used.
They are structures produced by cells that carry biological factors for regeneration. In the intimate area, they stimulate cell renewal, improve the quality of the skin and mucosa and enhance other treatments, such as the CO₂ laser.
Yes. Filler, exosomes, laser and radiofrequency are frequently combined in personalized protocols, for a more complete intimate rejuvenation and more satisfactory results.
Complementary Technologies (Radiofrequency and Photobiomodulation)
Radiofrequency promotes controlled heating of the vaginal and vulvar tissues, stimulating collagen production and improving firmness, elasticity, hydration and intimate comfort in a gradual and natural way. It can act on the internal area, the external area or both.
No. It is a comfortable procedure, with only a mild sensation of warmth, minimally invasive and one that usually allows an immediate return to activities. In general, 3 to 6 sessions are recommended.
It is the use of low-intensity light to stimulate cell regeneration, healing and tissue recovery. It is painless, non-invasive and used as a complement — for example, in the post-operative period, in rejuvenation protocols or in support for conditions such as candidiasis flare-ups.
Yes. Radiofrequency and photobiomodulation are frequently combined with laser, intimate surgeries and regenerative protocols to enhance results, according to the medical evaluation.
Intimate Procedures and Recovery
For most non-surgical treatments, there is no need for time off. For intimate surgeries, the recovery period varies according to the procedure performed and the activities the patient does.
After intimate surgeries, we generally recommend avoiding intense physical activity for about 30 to 45 days. With non-surgical treatments, the return is usually much quicker.
After intimate surgeries, we normally advise sexual abstinence for approximately 30 to 45 days. With non-surgical procedures, the period may be shorter and will be defined individually.
Surgical procedures usually provide long-lasting results. Regenerative treatments, such as laser, radiofrequency and biostimulators, may require maintenance sessions over the years to preserve the benefits.
